We would like to invite you to stay in our beautiful 18th century villa, Casale Sonnino, which was built on a 200 year old Roman foundation. Our lovely villa is located outside of Rome, providing guests with the simplicity of country living yet offering the city experience as well. If you wish to truly experience the Italian way of life, staying in a private home is the way to go, as you can more easily assimilate yourself with your surroundings and the locals.

Furthermore, Casale Sonnino has its very own olive grove and grape vineyard, which means you can freely explore the grounds and see for yourself where the local Franscati wine comes from or the fruity extra virgin olive oil that you sprinkle over your salads. We encourage our guests to set out on foot to explore our land and the surrounding areas. You might want to take a walk up to the local piazza and do some people watching. You will surely see for yourself just how animated and full of life the Italians are. Enjoy an espresso at the bar or perhaps grab a gelato and take a leisurely stroll through the cobblestone streets of town.

A Rome bed and breakfast offers guests a personalized way to experience the Italian way of life. We believe you will find our home to be spectacular in every way, with all the amenities of home at your fingertips. Comfortably, Casale Sonnino sleeps six to eight people, but it is entirely possible to accommodate up to 10 guests. If you are traveling with children, our home is spacious and full of nooks and crannies just waiting to be discovered. We would be more than happy to provide daily breakfast and cook service for an additional fee. Simply let us know and we will be happy to make those arrangements for you.
