California Adoption Records
by Staff Writer
Searching for people related by birth is easier (relatively speaking, of course) for people born or adopted in California than in most other states in the U.S. The California Birth Indexes–which contain true, non-altered records of birth–are currently protected by the California Public Records Act. Further, individual counties within California are given considerable freedom in terms of adoption law interpretation, meaning that many counties will release individual adoption records upon written demand of an adult adoptee and/or the adoptee parents.
I am a California adoptee search expert. I am thoroughly versed in California adoption law. Further, I am completely familiar with all the individual county-by-county interpretations of the law. In fact, I am so confident of my skills that in many cases I am able to offer a “no find/no fee” promise.
Plus, unlike many private adoptee search resources, I will not simply abandon you once I find the information you seek. Having searched for–and ultimately found–members of my own family, I know how important it is to have someone on your emotional side as you make the decision to either continue your search or stop. I am with you every step of the way.
I am happy to offer you suggestions and recommendations regarding contact attempts. Should you choose to meet your family members face to face, as many people do, I am able to advise you on taking that emotional step, as well. You are in control every step of the way, and BirthSearcher.com helps you stay that way.
