C-Lon Thread

Whether you are a beginner or veteran bead weaver, C-LON® thread is an excellent choice. The thread is made from high-quality, UV-resistant monocord nylon. This construction makes it extremely durable and eliminates the need for beading wax. If you have used Nymo thread in the past, C-LON® may be a preferable alternative.

Gold Onyx Bead Weaving Supplies offers 36 colors of C-LON® thread to choose from. Products include variety packs that come with 36 or 72 color bobbins of thread packaged in storage tubes. Individual color bobbins come packaged in bags, but you can easily purchase additional storage tubes for them. C-LON® thread is available in sizes AA and D.

The size of thread you choose should depend on the size of beads you want to use for your projects, as well as the style and techniques of bead weaving you are performing. The AA is a thinner thread than the D size and is suitable for smaller seed beads (e.g., 15/0) or Delica beads. The AA is also preferable if you are doing bead weaving stitches that require multiple passes of thread through the beads. The D size is a great choice for larger seed beads (e.g., 11/0), Delicas and other types of large beads.

Gold Onyx Bead Weaving Supplies offers 30 vibrant colors of C-LON® bead cord to choose from. This bead cord is a heavy, twisted multi-filament nylon thread with a breaking strength of 34 pounds. The C-LON® bead cord is ideal for bead crocheting, macramé and other jewelry projects and it has a small enough diameter to easily pass once through 11/0 seed beads or twice through larger beads. You can purchase variety packs packaged in storage tubes or individual colors packaged in bags.
