Labradoodle Costs
by Staff Writer
Labradoodles are a delightful breed, full of quirky looks and fun-loving temperaments. Some of the chocolate-colored labradoodles are so cute that their furry faces make them seem like miniature descendants of Chewbacca. They also come in other colors, such as white, black, apricot, and cream. Their fur types also vary from being either wool or fleece. Other less common-fur styles also exist such as straight or long and wavy.
Like many so-called “designer breeds,” there is a certain cachet to owning a labradoodle, which makes acquiring them a sometimes pricey enterprise. Much of the pricing depends on the pedigree as well as the coat type, color and size of the dog. The high prices are also due to the fact that labradoodles are highly recommended for people who are allergic to fur and dander. Some labradoodles can fetch prices of over $2,000, plus shipping costs. Many labradoodle breeders ask for something in the $1,000 range. That’s still a lot of money.
Thankfully, there are other, more affordable options for hopeful labradoodle owners. Just Labs Kennels is located in southwest Texas in the city of Orange. We’ve been breeding dogs since 1999 and have built a reputation for being fair and affordable breeders of loving, well-mannered labradoodles.
