The money we receive from our donors goes to fund such necessities as medical assistance, therapy, equipment, guidance, companionship, camping experiences, and more for children in difficult circumstances, whether they are mentally or physically disabled or come from challenging household environments. Your cash donations can be deducted from your taxes in their entirety–typically, you can deduct up to 50 percent of your income. Ask your own tax advisor for how donations affect your individual situation.

If you are unable to contribute cash, there are other great ways to donate to charity. One of these is to donate your used automobile, the fair market value of which can then be deducted from your taxes.
