The life size soft sculptures are designed to represent people from the past and present, and from all walks of life. The hand-made costumes reflect a great attention to detail. The sculptures are sturdy yet light enough to move around. Life size soft sculpture is created from flesh-colored nylon, strips of batting, pvc pipe, and even cement filled shoes. Arms are attached via a cable, in case the arms need to adjust in any direction for holding or carrying things. The sculpted part is the face, which may take several hours to complete. Each one is painted with makeup and markers, then dressed in the style that suits their personalities best. The soft sculpture dolls are a challenge because they are realistic, yet at the same time they’re a caricature, offering a charming addition to a business or special event.
