New Rolex Watches

When you purchase new Rolex watches, you will want to take every care with your investment. Even watches that are water resistant should never be worn in a hot shower, sauna, or bath. The heat can cause the metal parts to pull away from the rubber gaskets, breaking the seal and possibly allowing water inside.

The same thing can happen with sudden temperature changes, so please consider keeping your Rolex safe from those changes. If you swim or dive in salt water, rinse your watch with fresh water immediately afterward.

Automatic or self-winding watches don’t have batteries to replace or maintain, but they still require some maintenance. If you wear your Rolex watch daily, pull out the crown and wind it about once every two weeks. This will keep the wheels oiled. If you don’t wear your watch every day, try to wind it about twice a week. This will keep the inner mechanism in good working order.
