Blackbuck Antelope Hunting

With their long, curling horns, blackbuck antelopes make exceptional trophies. Originally native to India, Nepal, and Pakistan, the animals have been introduced to West Texas where they thrive on many large ranch properties. The Blackbuck is incredibly fast and is able to outrun many of its natural predators, making it a challenging and exhilarating animal to pursue.

Because it is not indigenous to Texas, exotic game can be hunted year-round. This makes blackbuck antelope, along with axis deer, sika deer, scimitar horned oryx, and other animals excellent game for those who want to schedule a hunting excursion outside of the normal seasons.

At Desert Safaris, our guides have many years of experience hunting all types of game, including exotic species. Because we have exclusive access to numerous acres of private land in the region, we are able to maneuver ourselves within optimal range of the roving blackbuck populations. On each of our hunting trips you will enjoy the use of a vehicle and lunch and drinks in the field. Our accompanying guides will ensure professional handling of your trophies. Blackbuck hunting trips, like all of our exotic game trips, may be extended at the current daily rate for as many days as you wish. Harvest fees will be assessed at the end of the hunt.
