Mexico Mule Deer Hunting
by Staff Writer
Mexico is home to some of the largest mule deer bucks in North America. When you join Desert Safaris for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the region, you have a very good chance of scoring the “monster muley” of your dreams. Just to get an idea of the size of the bucks, a typical score falls into the 175 to 220 B&C range.
Our Mexico mule deer hunts feature personalized one-on-one guide service to help you navigate the terrain and identify the absolute best buck. While the density of the mule deer on the Mexico hunting grounds tends to be less than that of our Texas properties, the sheer size of the deer makes up for lack of a huge population. On average, you might see four to 10 bucks per day. These hunts generally see a 75 percent success rate.
After flying to Phoenix, you will continue to Hermosillo, Mexico, where one of our representatives will greet you and assist you in bringing your firearm through customs. Our Mexico camp is rustic yet comfortable, with a kitchen, hot water, and electricity provided. We limit the number of Mexico mule hunters to 16 per year (four annual camps with four hunters per hunt) to ensure continuing quality of the region’s mule bucks and personalized service for each and every client.
