COBRA Administration

by Staff Writer

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, or COBRA, was passed in 1986 to provide ex-employees with a continuation of group health coverage when their employment has been terminated. Although it does not cover termination that results from gross misconduct, most other circumstances fall under the COBRA health benefit regulations and administration.

If you have at least 20 employees, then you need to be COBRA compliant. For small companies who have a small or nonexistent human resources department, having the proper knowledge and forms for COBRA administration can be difficult. And, much of the software out there is either too confusing too expensive.

How CobraAid Can Streamline Your COBRA Administration
CobraAid was created especially for small companies of less than 150 employees, designed specifically to make COBRA administration simple and effective. When you purchase this administration tool for your business, you will receive all of the necessary documents, manuals and software that you need–without all of the confusing legal language and extra information.

Administering COBRA effectively doesn’t require a detailed knowledge of COBRA and its 20 year history. Don’t let yourself become overwhelmed by the masses of information out there. Here at CobraAid, we’ll give you just the information you need, plus unlimited email support and updates to keep you on top of the latest COBRA changes. For more information, click on the “chat now” feature on our homepage. A live representative will be able to answer all of your questions.
