Oregon Wineries
by Staff Writer
Oregon wineries are clustered throughout the western part of the state, and grouped into 11 wine regions. There are coastal wineries from the California to the Washington borders, and another group of wineries between the coastal range and the Cascades. This state has rain forest, high desert, and cool mountain regions; no wonder there is such a strong and varied selection of wine!
WinoWorld doesn’t just know Oregon wine, we live it. We won’t sell anything, white, red, sparkling or otherwise, that does not delight us. On our website, you can read descriptions of these wines, some notes on the winemakers, and the reasons that we have chosen the labels and vintages that we offer our clients.

WinoWorld delights in the selections of Oregon wines available. There are a few styles that do an outstanding job in this state, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris among them. We have chosen the best bottles, and bring them to our clients at incredibly reasonable prices.
Pinot Noir is an ancient grape, and does quite well in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. One of WinoWorld’s shining stars in the world of Pinot Noir is the Chehalem Rion Reserve Pinot Noir 2002. This wine won a spectacular 92 points from Wine Enthusiast as well as being named an “Editor’s Choice.” With flavors of black cherry, vanilla, mincemeat and buttered toast, this wine has a velvet-smooth, seductive finish. If you are truly attuned to what is in your glass, this wine should not be missed.
