Ameriplan Health®

Ameriplan Health® is a relatively new program that encompasses dental, vision, chiropractic, prescription, and medical benefits. It is our goal to have this comprehensive program in all states within the next year, though at this time medical benefits are only available in California, Georgia, Texas, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma. As with our dental and vision program, the purpose of the health program is to provide working Americans with viable options in terms of their health care.

Insurance companies make the decisions regarding their members’ health. Somewhere in time, the doctor’s opinion took a back seat to the big insurance companies who are basically only concerned with their bottom line. The end result is that the insurance company essentially determines what type of medical treatment you will receive and from whom. If they decide you really don’t need to see a specialist, they won’t pay for you to do so. Forget about obtaining second opinions, as you would literally have to jump through hoops to get the green light from your insurance company.

At Ameriplan Health®, we see this as a complete and utter travesty. Why should any nameless, faceless insurance company have the ability to override a doctor’s advice? We believe that consumers have the right to make decisions regarding their health under the guidance of a doctor they choose. Therefore, our members can see the Ameriplan® doctors they wish to see–no questions asked. Members receive deeply discounted prices on care, and fees are paid at the time of service, directly to the doctor.
