Technorati Issues

We are having a very hard time getting Technorati to recognize the redesign here at Popdex. For some reason the spiders there think that the URL of this site is related to an old interior page. After two weeks of trying, we finally were able to “Claim This Blog” in the Technorati system, but only by using the URL of the dead page.

Every time we attempt to “Claim This Blog” using the base URL of the site, we get some vague error message explaining that we should try again in a few minutes. Well … we’ve been getting that for a week now. And there’s no way to update the URL that Technorati associates with a claimed blog. Tech support requests have been unanswered for well over a week now …
