The 2005 Upper Deck Pros and Prospects Baseball Card hobby boxes comes with 24 packs of cards per box. Each pack contains four cards from its pros and prospects line. Each box contains a random assortment of cards. There are more than 200 cards in the set and they can be kept track of with a checklist.

Along with the assortment of random cards in each box, there are also three short-printed prospect cards per box.
