The Summit Historical Society’s Lomax Placer Gulch is next to the inn and features an assay office and authentic miner’s cabin. In the winter, Breckenridge is host to the International Snow Sculpture Championships. For theatergoers, Breckenridge has an annual film festival, and the local Backstage Theatre presents a variety of plays year round.
