Celtic Earrings

Celtic earrings, which used to be called “ear-bobs,” have been worn for thousands of years to augment beauty and to show a connection to the Celtic tradition. The Celtic Jewellery Shop has a number of Celtic earring designs, which we make in our countryside workshop in the Shetlands. Some feature the famous Celtic knot designs, while others are representative of other Celtic and Scottish symbols.

The Celtic Jewellery Shop makes both stud earrings and drop earrings. In our stud earrings collection, we have beautiful designs that come in sterling silver as well as nine or 18 carat gold. These designs are all for pierced ears, and include the Scottish thistle, the Viking longboat, and the Celtic weave pattern.

Celtic earrings go beautifully with our Celtic rings, brooches and other jewellery. We even make beautiful kilt pins that can be worn by both men and women. Earrings and a pendant make a thoughtful holiday gift package, lending a woman instant glamour and luster. Our “Nessie” pin is whimsical, with modern lines, and would go well with any of our earring designs in sterling silver.
