Beachfront Vacations

When it comes to family vacations, everybody seems to have their own separate idea of fun. Mom wants to explore the local culture, Junior wants to windsurf, and Dad–well, Dad just wants to relax. One thing all their imaginary vacation paradises have in common however is a backdrop: a beach. After all, a vacation just isn’t a vacation without a beach.

For those people who agree, the Fiji Islands will provide an excellent vacation spot for every member of the family. No matter how different each person’s views of a good time are from another’s, the family as a whole is sure to find plenty to satisfy its desires. For Fiji really is one of those few remaining places in the world where you can have it all.

When it comes to activities, for example, Fiji has more than its fair share. With such an array of beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters, the variety of different pastimes is practically endless. From waterskiing to scuba diving to surfing, active adventurers are sure to find something that will keep them occupied; while those interested in simply relaxing will find plenty of space for that, as well.

The “Fijian difference,” however, has more to do with the Fijians themselves than with the islands. Fijians are justly renowned throughout the area–and the international tourism community–as excellent hosts. Their friendly attitudes are extended to everyone, no matter how brief their stay, or how little or much they know about the area.
